Library Receives LSTA Non-Fiction Grant

Stop by to see the 98 new adult non-fiction titles on display as you enter the library.  To see the entire list of titles, go to 'New Arrivals ' on the left , then click on LSTA grant.  You can also pick up a paper copy of the titles when you visit the library.  We are grateful for this grant to update and improve the adult non-fiction collection so that we can better meet the needs of our readers.

 All active library patrons may use this service.  Login to MissouriLibraries2go from our home page and use your library card number preceded by the letter P just as it shows on your library card.  Your password is your last name starting with a capital letter.  (up to 20 letters)  If you need assistance, call or stop by the library.

Story Time for preschoolers resumes on Wednesday, May 22 @ 10:30 a.m. upstairs @ the library. 

Special programming for those entering Kindergarten-4th Grade will begin on Thursday, May 23 @ 6:30 p.m. upstairs @ the library.Special Tween Programs for those entering grades 5-8 begin on Tuesday, May 28 @ 6:30 p.m. upstairs at the library.

Library Book Club Meets June 19, 2013         

 The June selection for the Wood Place Book Club is "Burnt Mountain" by Anna Rivers Siddons .  The group meets to discuss the featured selection on Wednesday, June 19.  All readers are invited to join the group.

SOLD OUT SUCCESS

The Friendship Hall of California UCC was filled with library supporters for the SOLD OUT dinner theater fundraising event on May 10. For pictures and details look under the "Friends" tab above.
